Connect an image provider
Go Bananas uses the provider connection saved for your workspace. Connect Gemini for Gemini models, or OpenAI for OpenAI models. Connecting one does not enable the other.
Add or replace a key
- Sign in and select the intended workspace from your account menu.
- Open Dashboard → Workspace Settings.
- Find Gemini Provider API Key or OpenAI Provider API Key and select the add or replace control.
- Paste your provider key into the secure key field and select Verify & save.
- Wait for the result. If verification fails, check the provider account and correct the key before trying again.
- Return to Prompt and create one image with a model from that provider.
Use the provider's own account console to create and manage its keys. Provider billing, access permissions and usage limits must permit image generation. If you cannot change workspace settings, ask the workspace owner to complete the connection.
Which key do I need?

Keys belong in the secure settings form, never in chat, screenshots or support messages. A saved key is not proof of a successful image. See billing and storage and failed generation.
